On the heels of our wildly successful online conference where we had 400+ registrants, the 2021 Young Architect Winter Series, we are already planning The Young Architect Summer Series 2021…and we want you to be a part of it!

What is the Young Architect Summer Series (YASS2021)? 

YASS is a 5-day grassroots online architecture conference happening July 15 – 19, 2021, for the next generation of Architects. It will include networking, keynotes, panels, and workshops — which brings us to you!

Want to do a Workshop at YASS?

You’ll get to:

1. Be seen as an authority and leader, making important new connections and increasing your reach
2. Help our highly-engaged community learn an important skill 
3. Receive expert guidance to deliver the best workshop possible (Speaker Development Program)
4. Give back to the community, with this volunteer opportunity

Submissions Open February 23rd, 2021

Step One: Review the Submission Form & Determine Your Proposed Topic 

Prior to filling out the submission form, we recommend you review it briefly.

The form includes a list of proposed topics from our community. You’ll be invited to choose one of those topics to focus your workshop proposal on, or submit your own.

Step Two: Create Your Pitch Video

Now that you’ve chosen a proposed topic, you can create a workshop Pitch Video.

A part of your speaker proposal submission will include a short Pitch Video that is 90 seconds or less. We want to experience your speaking and your passion for your proposed topic first hand.

To make the process as easy as possible, we have created a tutorial video and a written Pitch Video guide!

After you view these materials, you can create your Pitch Video.

Step Three: Complete the Submission Form with Your Pitch Video Attached

Now that you’ve chosen your topic and created your Pitch Video, you can revisit the Workshop Proposal Form, answer the prompts and attach your video. Congratulations, you’re done!

What Happens Next….

Submissions Close end of the day, March 9th, 2021. We’ll review your submission and respond to all speaker proposals no later than March 23rd, 2021.
